Srinivasan, who was 72 years old at the time of his passing, was a notable figure in Tamil cinema, recognized for his multifaceted contributions as a producer, director, composer, and actor. He began his career in the film industry with the production of Ivargal Varungala Thoongal in 1987, which marked the start of a prolific journey.

Throughout his career, he produced several landmark films, including Manasukul Mathappu, released in 1988, and Nalaya Manithan in 1989. His directorial efforts included Jenma Natchathiram, a remake of the classic horror film The Omen, which was released in 1991.

In addition to his work behind the camera, Srinivasan also took on acting roles, notably portraying the antagonist in the Kamal Hassan-starrer Soora Samharam.

In his later years, he was known for his philanthropic efforts, running an ashram where he lived with his adopted children. This aspect of his life highlighted his commitment to giving back to the community.

His last directorial project, Aduthathu, was inspired by Agatha Christie’s novel And Then There Were None and marked a significant point in his career.
