New Terminal Commences Operations

The new integrated terminal at Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati commenced commercial operations on March 11, 2026. This development is expected to significantly enhance the airport’s passenger handling capacity and improve operational efficiency.

In addition to infrastructural advancements, Guwahati is set to host significant sporting events. The Rajasthan Royals will face the Chennai Super Kings in their opening match on March 30, 2026, at the ACA Stadium in Guwahati. Cultural Celebrations

Meanwhile, the Guwahati Artists Guild is celebrating its golden jubilee with an art exhibition titled “From the Land of Chitralekha,” which features works by 32 women artists. The exhibition was inaugurated on March 9, 2026, and will remain open to visitors daily from 3 pm to 8.30 pm until March 21, 2026.
