However, the new schedule introduces two primary slots: Slot 1 from 9:00 AM to 12:15 PM and Slot 2 from 3:00 PM to 6:45 PM. This marks a significant shift in how the exam is structured, likely aimed at managing the large volume of candidates.
According to documents released by the NTA, candidates must arrive at their respective exam centers two hours before the start time, with doors closing precisely thirty minutes prior to the beginning of each slot. The adjustments also include provisions for candidates with disabilities (PwD), who will receive an additional twenty minutes for every hour of the exam. Such measures are designed to ensure equitable access and support for all participants.
Furthermore, candidates must bring a printed CUET UG 2026 admit card along with a valid ID to gain entry into the examination hall. The admit card will contain essential details such as the exam city slip and specific shift timings, which candidates are advised to verify a day before the test.
In addition to these requirements, it is important for candidates to be aware of prohibited items that cannot be carried into the exam hall. These include mobile phones, smart watches, and calculators — items that could disrupt the integrity of the examination process.
